A band that goes loud onstage, makes you think about sex and beautiful women and they give one hell of a show! 3 guy's that wanted to play nothing but hardrock and make history. We all believe that they already did...
Robin van Thuijl (leadsinger/bassist) started the band in June 2008. Aaran Meusen (drummer) joined the same day and Erwin Jongenelen (guitarist) joined the band soon after. They started as a four-man-band, but became a three-piece band during the summer of 2009.
Everything has been written, everything has been done. So what's new? Black Mantis decided to keep it all simple. They write songs faster than an ordinary One-Night Stand. Most of the lyrics are about what they've seen or done themselves in real life. So yeah, a lot of girlfriends became Ex-girlfriends and a lot of things have been said and done. With major inspiration Danko Jones the boy's will bring you Rock N Roll... and they will sing about women whether you like it or not! If you are not convinced? Go and see the show. You will like it, you will bang your head and all the ladies are beautiful there!
